4th Trusted Digital Copyright Ecosystem Conference – Blockchain Gaming Industry Forum

On November 19, 2024, the 4th Trusted Digital Copyright Ecosystem Conference’s Blockchain Gaming Industry Forum was successfully held in Beijing. Themed ‘Blockchain Gaming: The 3.0 Era of the Gaming Industry’, the forum gathered top game producers, renowned experts and scholars, and elites from the global copyright and blockchain fields to discuss the innovative applications and future development paths of the blockchain gaming industry.
The forum’s background is noteworthy: under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Press and Publication Bureau (Copyright Bureau), the Beijing Publishing Copyright Association, the Beijing Copyright Protection Center, and the Trusted Copyright Chain National Operation Center, along with related enterprises, actively promote the innovative application demonstration and promotion of ‘Blockchain + Copyright + Gaming’. Through unremitting efforts, a trustworthy digital infrastructure for the gaming industry has been initially established, forming a complete closed loop that includes the registration, minting, issuance, trading, and enforcement of digital copyright assets, laying a solid foundation for the digital upgrade of the gaming industry.


During the forum, guests discussed the innovative applications and development directions of the blockchain gaming industry in depth. Xuan Hongliang, Director of the Trusted Copyright Chain National Operation Center, delivered a keynote speech titled ‘Blockchain Gaming: The 3.0 Era of the Gaming Industry’, profoundly elaborating on the inevitable trend of the gaming industry’s transformation and upgrading to blockchain gaming, and deeply analyzing the underlying logic and core value of ‘Blockchain + Copyright + Gaming’ from the perspective of copyright management.


He emphasized that based on digital copyright certificates and the trusted copyright chain, with blockchain technology as a new element, a trustworthy digital copyright ecosystem should be jointly constructed to help the gaming industry achieve comprehensive transformation and upgrading.



Pat Yiu, founder of Nouns Dao China, also delivered a keynote speech at the forum. He introduced the global development trend of Nouns to the attendees in detail and deeply interpreted the Web3 spirit and philosophy embodied by Nouns. Pat Yiu’s speech not only gave attendees a more comprehensive understanding of Nouns but also triggered deep thinking about the governance and operation of Dao organizations.


Its strong IP incubation and consensus-building capabilities inspired the attendees. In addition, Ma Xin, Director of the Trusted Copyright Chain Gaming Super Node, detailed the Chinese solution for the gaming chain reform. He comprehensively elaborated on the current status and future trends of blockchain gaming from several aspects, including technology implementation, community governance, economic system construction, and UGC open infrastructure.


Li Tianqing, Director of the Trusted Copyright Chain E-sports Super Node, discussed the new opportunities and challenges that blockchain technology brings to the e-sports industry in his speech. He mentioned that blockchain technology will reconstruct the entire e-sports ecosystem and promote the e-sports industry to develop in a more open, transparent, and autonomous direction.



Meanwhile, he introduced the significant meaning and market value of establishing a bottom-up esports DAO organization, providing new ideas and directions for the future development of the esports industry.


At the forum site, the complete process of a full-link closed loop including work registration, distribution, minting, trading, and exercise of rights was also demonstrated, as well as a Web3 service platform for producers, game enthusiasts, IP holders, and project parties. These innovative applications not only inject new vitality into the game industry but also provide more convenient and efficient service experiences for participants.


In the forum, the national operation center of the Trusted Copyright Chain reached a global strategic cooperation agreement with the world-renowned DAO organization NounsDao. The two sides will jointly commit to promoting the development of the Web3 game industry, jointly operate IPs such as Quack, Shishi, Parallel Rabbit, and Buff Dog, and simultaneously issue the digital assets of the world-renowned 3A-level Web3 game ‘Shrapnel’ in China.


This cooperation will not only further enhance the influence of the Trusted Copyright Chain on a global scale but also bring new development opportunities and challenges to the Chinese game industry.
