Recently, Huawei Data Storage’s official account posted on Weibo stating that the international authoritative research institution Coldago Research has released the 2024 global file storage report and object storage report. Huawei ranks among the leaders in both and becomes the only Chinese manufacturer to receive this honor. It is known that the Coldago Research Map is a global research report in the storage field.
It systematically examines technological innovation and trends, market share, and ecological cooperation in the storage industry, and then ranks key storage manufacturers to provide procurement references for enterprise users. As can be seen from the chart, Huawei is a leader in the two subcategories of ‘enterprise file storage’ and ‘high-performance file storage’, keeping pace with storage giants such as IBM, Microsoft, Dell, and Western Digital. In the object storage report, Huawei has become a leader for the first time with the excellent product capabilities of OceanStor Pacific distributed storage. Leading in both lists indicates that Huawei Storage is at the global leading level in both the two evaluation dimensions of ‘execution and product capabilities’ and ‘vision and strategy’. Currently, Huawei OceanStor data storage has entered more than 150 countries and regions around the world and widely serves industry customers such as finance, operators, manufacturing, healthcare, government, and public utilities.
