Shenzhen Zhongqing Robotics Launches New PM01 Robot with Open-Source Intelligence

Shenzhen Zhongqing Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. has unveiled its new generation of fully open universal embodied intelligent entity, the PM01, starting at a price of 88,000 yuan. Zhongqing has prepared two versions of the PM01 for customers: the commercial version and the educational version. Both versions are available for purchase at a unified price of 88,000 yuan until March 31, 2025 (during this specific period, customers purchasing the commercial version will automatically receive an upgrade to the educational version rights).
Standing at 1.38 meters tall and weighing approximately 40kg, the PM01 features 24 degrees of freedom and a mobility speed of 2m/s. It offers two walking modes: mechanical gait and humanoid natural gait, with a humanoid degree and motion performance claimed to match the flagship model SE01. Compared to the previous generation scientific education platform SA01, the PM01 boasts better interactivity, higher compatibility, greater openness, superior dynamic performance, and a more stable hardware body.


In terms of interactive design, the PM01 incorporates an interaction core screen that integrates multiple intelligent interactive functions. Users can simply touch the screen to display operational commands and information. Dynamically, the PM01 adds a new neck degree of freedom, closer to human form, and includes a 320-degree free rotation motor at the waist, enhancing the overall flexibility and passability of the machine, enabling it to perform a wide range of complex actions.


Regarding openness, with the support of X86 and NVIDIA Jetson Orin, the PM01 can meet the research needs of more developers, achieving cross-platform algorithm deployment and verification. Algorithmically, the PM01 has acquired the ability to execute human tasks through reinforcement learning and imitation learning, and further enhances the precision of motion and the generalization ability in various scenarios by applying optical motion capture technology and end-to-end solutions.
